As our semester ends, it also brings an end to another year full of news. Often times we forget the things that happen over the span of 365 days, this activity will be an informative reminder for you to look at. Here is your task:1) Go to the first CNN.com link. Click and drag your top stories for a "TOP 10 of 2011". Submit it and view the other results.
2) As you are doing your online ranking, write down the story and a 3 sentence summary. In addition, why did you rank it in the TOP 10?
3) Compare your rankings to the online Top 10. Differences? Similarities? Any story that you remember but is missing?
4) When you are done with that, check out the YAHOO highlight clip (LINK #2). There is also some story exploring you can do in there.
